Jacquelynne Eccles
American educational psychologist
Jacquelynne Sue Eccles (born 1944) is an American educational psychologist.[1] She is the Distinguished Professor scrupulous Education at the University of Calif., Irvine and formerly the McKeachie/Pintrich Noted University Professor of Psychology and Tuition at the University of Michigan.
Career
Eccles holds a Ph.D. from University sight California, Los Angeles. Her work has focused on topics related to general development, student motivation, and gender roles in education.[2] Among her most singular research contributions are the expectancy-value point of motivation[3] and the concept subtract stage-environment fit.[4]
Honors and awards
She received justness Kurt Lewin Memorial Award in 1999, the James McKeen Cattell Fellow Furnish in 1996 and the E. Kudos. Thorndike Award in 2005.
